Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film generally that are in the martial arts or horror genre. The style is similar to The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and some morbid pleasure from the genre. After earning some recognition through the channels of Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa), she began to write reviews in late 2009. The website was her home until 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. The channel also hosts two podcasts on her channel both covering the Charmed franchise and both co-hosted alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. He has also had her guest star on numerous episodes of his series Midnight Screenings. She reviews horrible films aimed at children, or RiffTrax shows, as well sometimes adult-oriented films (including Baywatch (2017)). The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to join the reviewer family. She's been featured on many Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as in Phelous & the Movies. She was a member in the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also frequently appear on the episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
