Jessie J
Jessica Ellen Cornish, popularly known by the name of Jessie J, is a known English musician and singer. She is known for her unique music sound, which combines soul vocals with pop, hip-hop and electropop, Jessie garnered much fame in her early years. She has received awards like the 2011 Critics' Choice Brit Award as well as BBC's Sound of 2011 as well as numerous nominations. Jessie began her professional career at the young age of eleven when she was in the production of 'Whistle Down the Wind' by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. She later joined the 'National Youth Musical Theater' and appeared in the show 'The Late Sleepers,' which was first performed in 2002. In 2011, she was famous after the release of her first studio album "Who You Are'. It was an enormous achievement, selling ten thousand copies in the UK, and 34,000 copies in the US within the first week of its release. It was ranked second at the UK Albums Chart and number 11 on the US Billboard 200. Jessie has also been known for her work in the field of charity and has been involved with charities including 'Children in Need,' and "Comic Relief."
